The ledger

Every call, month by month.

How this record is computed

The rules, in plain language.

  1. 01
What counts as a call.A call is a publication that records, at publish time, a direction and a machine-checkable invalidation. Trading Setups always qualify; a narrative Journal qualifies when it records call conditions alongside its thesis. Research without falsifiable conditions is never counted.
  2. 02
Conditions are frozen at publish.Entry, invalidation and targets are recorded before the outcome is known and protected by the database, not by promises. Levels are never re-drawn.
  3. 03
Outcomes are computed, never assigned.A call resolves ✓ Hit or ✕ Invalidated against its frozen conditions. Nothing else exists. There is no partial credit. An ambiguous outcome stays Open, visibly.
  4. 04
Resolution is a human action on public data. There is no daemon and no price feed. The founder records the observed condition; the engine computes the result. What the founder cannot do: choose the outcome, edit the conditions or remove the row.
  5. 05
Nothing leaves the ledger.Archived and superseded publications keep their rows and their outcomes. Numbers are never reused; rows are never deleted.
  6. 06
Paid research is scored publicly.Calls made in subscriber-only publications (via X Subscription) appear on this public ledger with their outcomes fully visible. The reasoning is subscribers-only; the outcome never is.
  7. 07
Rates have thresholds. The hit rate appears only at 10+ resolved calls; a calibration bucket's rate appears only at 5+ resolved calls in that bucket. Below the threshold, this page shows the counts and says so. A small denominator can make any record look brilliant.
  8. 08
This page never shows money. No PnL, no returns, no equity curve. Those are unverifiable for a publication and would turn a research record into an implied promise. A hit means the recorded condition resolved in the thesis's favor. It says nothing about position sizing or profit.

Figure definitions

Calls on record
Publications that recorded a direction and a machine-checkable invalidation at publish. Research without falsifiable conditions is not counted.
Open
Calls whose recorded conditions have not yet resolved.
Resolved
Calls whose outcome has been computed from their frozen conditions.
Hit
Resolved in the thesis's favor.
Invalidated
Resolved against the thesis.
Hit rate
Hit ÷ Resolved, whole percent. Shown only at 10+ resolved calls.

These definitions are the same ones the homepage’s ledger uses: one registry, one computation, no second scoreboard.

A worked example, on a loss

How one call became one row. Deliberately a miss. The mechanism is the same either way.

PublishedRecorded its plan. A short bias, an entry zone and the frozen invalidation: a daily close above the recorded level.
ObservedCondition observed. The daily close printed above the level. The founder ran resolution and recorded the observation.
ComputedOutcome computed. The frozen condition resolved against the thesis, ✕ Invalidated, scored here and left in public forever.

This page contains no profit claims. It is the record of whether stated, timestamped, falsifiable research resolved as published, win or lose. Every row was written before the outcome was known. Nothing here is financial advice.
